Mark Garcia

Growing up with a father in the jewelry industry,   Mark became familiar with jewelry repair, purchase, and value, at a very young age. His love for diamonds, and for the diamond industry as a whole, has never been something he questioned or second-guessed. Mark graduated from the Gemological institute of America in 1981, holding a Graduate Gemologist Diploma, certifying him in diamond and colored stone grading, and a diploma in Jewelry Design.  Just shortly after graduating, he began to compile business strategies for what would become Garcia and Co. Jewelers. In July of 1989 he and his wife, Ruth, opened the doors of what would soon become the Four Corners' finest diamond and watch establishment.

Brent Garcia

After many years of adventures, traveling, and unique experiences, Brent Garcia finally decided to settle down back in his hometown! Just one year after his return home, Brent met, fell head-over-heals for, and married his amazing wife, Kayla. Brent and Kayla have been married for a couple of years now.

In August 2006 Brent was recruited as a Sales Associate, and has since pursued a deeper knowledge of diamonds and gemstones. In the previous year he received his American Gem Society Certification and is currently in the process of earning a Graduate Gemologist Diploma through the Gemological Institute of America.

Brent's primary passion is his love for art and creativity. This includes anything from graphic design to painting to cooking! Brent's ability to artistically manipulate something ordinary into something extraordinary is irreplaceable.  No task given to Brent will produce unoriginal or mundane results. The sound of laughter, words of encouragement, and sincerity trail behind Brent into all areas of his life. Garcia and Co. is daily enriched by Brent's many accomplishments and fresh, exciting perspectives!  

Alec Garcia

After graduating from New Mexico State University in 2008 with a degree in Communication Studies, Alec moved back to Farmington to work with Garcia & Co. Jewelers.

Alec applies his education and experience in developing the proprietary training, business, and marketing systems that continue to make the Garcia & Co. shopping experience the best in the Four Corners area.
