Step Into the Past (and Leave With Something Sparkly): Our Estate Jewelry Event Is Here

January 14, 2026 2 min read

There’s something irresistible about estate jewelry. These pieces have lived lives before they ever reach your hand—witnessed parties, proposals, world fairs, and probably a little mischief. 😉

For one day only, we’re bringing together an extraordinary collection of estate and vintage jewelry that spans centuries of style, craftsmanship, and glamour right here in Farmington, NM.

Join us Friday, February 6th, from 10:00am–5:00pm at Garcia & Co. Jewelers for our Estate Jewelry Event. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, a history lover, or just someone who wants jewelry with soul, this is a day worth circling on your calendar.

What You’ll Discover

You’ll be able to explore pieces from some of the most fascinating eras in jewelry history:

  • Georgian (1714–1837)

Think candlelight sparkle. These pieces were made before electricity, designed to glow softly in low light with rose-cut diamonds, foil backs, and hand-worked gold. Rare, romantic, and increasingly hard to find.

  • Victorian (1837–1901)

Big emotions, big symbolism. From sentimental lockets and serpents to bold gemstones and intricate metalwork, Victorian jewelry tells stories—often quite literally.

  • Art Nouveau (circa 1890–1910)

Jewelry as art, not just adornment. Flowing lines, nature run wild, and a touch of fantasy—think sinuous curves, flowers, dragonflies, mythical women, and luminous enamels. Art Nouveau pieces feel alive, handcrafted, and a little rebellious, created during a brief moment when beauty mattered more than symmetry or sparkle alone.

  • Edwardian (1901–1915)

Light, lacy, and elegant. Platinum enters the scene, diamonds feel airy and refined, and everything looks like it belongs at a garden party hosted by royalty.

  • Art Deco (1920s–1930s)

Sharp lines, fearless geometry, and unapologetic glamour. This era is all about confidence, contrast, and jewelry that still feels strikingly modern.

  • Retro & Cocktail (1940s–1960s)

Bold gold, dramatic curves, and “look at me” rings. These pieces were made to stand out and absolutely still do.

  • Midcentury Modern (1950s–1960s)

Clean lines, bold forms, and a confident post-war attitude. These pieces favor sculptural gold, graphic shapes, and striking gemstones over fuss and frills. Influenced by modern art and architecture, Midcentury Modern jewelry feels intentional, wearable, and effortlessly cool—designed for people who liked their style smart, strong, and a little ahead of its time.

  • Contemporary Estate & Signed Pieces

Modern treasures, exotic gemstones, and designer-signed jewelry that blends craftsmanship with collectability.

This is not a clearance table or a catalog you’ve already seen. These are one-of-a-kind finds—pieces you won’t stumble across twice.

If you love jewelry with character, history, and presence, this event is for you. Come browse, ask questions, try things on, and fall a little bit in love with the past.

We’ll see you Friday, February 6th, 10:00am–5:00pm, at Garcia & Co. Jewelers, 4540 E. Main St., Farmington, NM.

History never looked so good!
